SPRILA subsidy 2026: charging infrastructure for healthcare institutions reopened
The SPRILA subsidy reopened in 2026 for businesses and healthcare institutions that want to build charging infrastructure on their own site. The scheme can subsidise part of the investment in charge points, the grid connection and, where relevant, battery storage. The window is open until 18 December 2026 at 12:00.
What is SPRILA?
SPRILA (the Dutch subsidy scheme for private charging infrastructure at businesses) is intended for organisations registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce, including healthcare institutions. It reimburses part of the cost of charging infrastructure on owned or leased private land: AC and DC charging stations, cabling, main connections and, where applicable, a battery.
There are two tracks:
SPRILA Purchase: subsidy on installation and hardware.
SPRILA Advice: 50% subsidy on external advisory costs, up to €3,500 per piece of advice.
Why act now?
The application window closes on 18 December 2026 at 12:00. Applications are handled in order of receipt. For some parts of the scheme the budget can run out quickly during the year. Organisations with plans for charging infrastructure are therefore well advised to prepare an application in good time.
How does PowerQ help?
PowerQ helps healthcare institutions to:
map charging demand, grid capacity and the vehicle fleet;
work through scenarios and the business case;
assess quotations and contract terms;
prepare the SPRILA application properly, both in substance and in process.
That way you avoid isolated charge points with no plan behind them, and you make sure charging infrastructure, the energy contract and the property strategy fit together.
In 2026 the SPRILA scheme remains an important incentive for organisations looking to invest in electric mobility and their own charging infrastructure.
